Frankfurt based artist Cornelia Sollfrank worked on an online magazine for women hackers – the problem being there are no women hackers…Cornelia was available in the VRC to explain her approach to feminist art, the world of the female ‘anorak’ and how her work in ‘virtual subterfuge’ has developed.

Research & Development Fellowship
December saw the arrival of Paul Rooney to take up the VRC/DCA Artist’s Research and Development Fellowship. Paul is a sound artist working with video and performance and he undertook the development of new works based on collaborations with the working community at DCA, Dundee University and the wider environs of Dundee itself. A series of performances took place in Centrespace starting in January and continuing throughout the spring.
